Records of books for educational institutions…
Educational historians have frequently drawn attention to
the importance of text books in schools. Educational archivists will need to
consider preservation and storage challenges related to access to these texts,
and develop strategies that support the creation of programs that highlight the
collection of records that relate to the ‘business’ of selecting and acquiring
school texts, and the educational processes associated the use of these texts
within schools.
